DIGITAL SPEECH offers automatic gain control  for different speech applications. This algorithm is intended for speech loudness adjustment. It can be used in general phones, IP phones, conferencing systems for loudspeaker and microphone loudness adjustment. Proposed algorithm differs from other algorithms extended dynamic range, special protection against false gain increasing on breath, background noise and impulse signals (for example keyboard clicks ). If this algorithm is used for microphone loudness adjustment in hands free systems it can use special protection against false gain increasing on residual echo after acoustic echo canceller

DIGITAL SPEECH offers two type of adaptive gain control algorithm

Standard AGC (it is intended for embedded systems)

Enhancement AGC (it is intended for softphones)
